While in residence at the Bogliasco Foundation in Bogliasco, Italy during February and March, Daron completed the monograph Operafilm: a New Audiovisual Vocabulary about the aesthetic and practice of making The Bardo Trilogy.

Joseph Schwantner Tribute Work - A consortium is gathering to commission Daron to compose a nine minute work honoring Joseph Schwantner which includes Yale University, the University of Northern Colorado, the University of Tennessee, Miami University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, the University of Michigan, the Royal Northern College of Music, the St. Olaf Band, and Texas Tech University. I Hear America Singing has been released to Film Festivals, marking the culmination of the Bardo Trilogy of “operafilms.” Laurels are beginning to accumulate at film festivals, including Nominee - Best Composer of the Season - Montreal Independent Film Festival; Nominee - Best Composer - New York Independent Cinema Awards; Finalist in Best Ensemble Cast and Best American Film Categories - World Film Festival in Cannes

City of Light for full orchestra (commissioned by the Buffalo Philharmonic in celebration of music director JoAnn Falletta’s 25th year) opened the BPO’s season on 28 September 2024. See Buffalo News, Buffalo Spree, and here. Pre-order here. It is now streaming on all the platforms.

9/10: Love Before the Fall is now streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. It is also available on Tubi, Future Forward, and other channels. More channels will be added over the coming months. 9/10: Love Before the Fall joined Orson Rehearsed streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on 1 December. This level of exposure for an independent operafilm written and directed by the composer is unprecedented.
