About the Public Talk and Masterclass
From 2:00-4:00 Daron will present a masterclass for composers centering on vocal music that combines traditions and media, using examples from his ten operas. Daron delivers a talk entitled Politics and Pink Slips for the Center for Humanistic Inquiry at 4:30 based on a talk (Orson Welles as Political Activist and Artist) first presented to the Center for Arts Leadership at Roosevelt University.
