Lyrics:
Lend an ear. Lend an ear. Listen.

I HEAR AMERICA SINGING
the varied carols, I hear.
So blithe and strong, so loud and long,
Behold our songs are genuine and true.
I hear America’s songs.
The melodies are both yours and mine.
Behold, our songs are genuine.

I HEAR AMERICA SINGING
beneath her clear skies of blue.
Each voice I hear rings proud and clear,
Proclaiming freedom's call and all that’s true.

I hear America's anthems.
I hear them sung for all
The strong of heart who play their part,
Who strive for justice and human rights for all.

I sing America’s anthems,
our musics, new songs and old.
I sing to bring light into the darkest night.
Behold the sight of people who are free.

I HEAR AMERICA SINGING.
