  • While in residence at the Bogliasco Foundation in Bogliasco, Italy during February and March, Daron completed the book Exploring Operafilm: Making the Bardo Trilogy, which includes the screenplays of all three operafilms. It will be released by McFarland in the fall.

  • Joseph Schwantner Tribute Work - A consortium is gathering to commission Daron to compose a nine minute work honoring Joseph Schwantner which includes Yale University, the University of Northern Colorado, the University of Tennessee, Miami University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, the University of Michigan, the Royal Northern College of Music, the St. Olaf Band, and Texas Tech University.   • City of Light for full orchestra (commissioned by the Buffalo Philharmonic in celebration of music director JoAnn Falletta’s 25th year) opened the BPO’s season on 28 September 2024.   • 9/10: Love Before the Fall is now streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video. It is also available on Tubi, Future Forward, and other channels. More channels will be added over the coming months. 9/10: Love Before the Fall joined Orson Rehearsed streaming worldwide on Amazon Prime Video on 1 December.
